AIPAC Applauds House Armed Services Committee for including Key U.S.-Israel Defense Programs in FY27 NDAA
June 5, 2026
AIPAC applauds the House Armed Services Committee for including Section 224, the United States‑Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, and other pro‑Israel provisions in its National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027.
We applaud President Trump and Secretary Rubio for their tireless work with our ally Israel to broker this ceasefire. This historic agreement between Israel and Lebanon makes clear that the obstacle to peace unequivocally remains Hezbollah and its backers in Iran.
Under President Trump's leadership, and through the courageous actions of American servicemembers—including our 13 fallen heroes—and their Israeli counterparts, the senior leadership of a regime that has terrorized the world and its own people met its just demise.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
