The current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in 2016 by President Barack Obama and runs from Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 through 2028, committing the United States to providing $3.3 billion per year in security assistance and $500 million for cooperative missile defense programs.

AIPAC worked with pro-Israel leaders in Congress to include billions of dollars for essential U.S.-Israel cooperative programs in the fiscal year 2026 appropriations bills.

While Israel has achieved peace agreements with 7 of its neighbors and maintains growing informal relations with others, Palestinian leaders refuse to even negotiate with the Jewish state.

Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza. Accusations of genocide against Israel are a false, malicious, legally baseless blood libel against our ally that distort the memory of actual genocides, including the Holocaust.

Israel continues to work closely with international aid and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to restore damaged water, electricity, and sewage systems, provide medical supplies and care, and facilitate the entry of essential equipment into Gaza to clear rubble, reopen roads, and rebuild critical infrastructure—including hospitals, schools, and bakeries—previously exploited by Hamas for its terror operations.

The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist organization that promotes its radical ideology through political and civic programs, as well as through violence and terror – Hamas was founded as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. The group threatens American interests, regional stability, and the security of our allies.
