Since October 7, 2023, media and international organizations have repeatedly echoed Hamas’ casualty narratives, including claims that Israel was killing innocent healthcare workers, without independently verifying the information. Now, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are releasing obituaries for these individuals and publicly acknowledging that many of those presented as medical professionals were in fact terrorist commanders and fighters.

Reviewing Saudi Nuclear Cooperation
On July 22, the United States and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to facilitate peaceful nuclear energy cooperation between the countries. Given the dangers of nuclear proliferation, and the potential that a peaceful nuclear energy program can be used to further a weaponization program, Congress must carefully scrutinize the agreement to ensure it meets America’s nonproliferation priorities and reject any agreement that fails to foreclose any Saudi pathway to a nuclear weapon.
