Overwhelming bipartisan congressional majorities have now concretely demonstrated that America unambiguously stands with Israel as it confronts aggression from Iran and its terrorist proxies.  

We commend the Senate that today adopted the historic $14.3 billion emergency supplemental security assistance for Israel. This legislation is the largest U.S. security aid package in Israel’s history.

We applaud the bipartisan leadership of Congress for gaining passage of the security assistance - Senate Majority Leader Schumer, Republican Leader McConnell, Speaker Johnson, and Democratic Leader Jeffries. We also express our appreciation to President Biden for originally proposing the emergency supplemental.  

In addition to the critical funding, the legislation includes critical provisions to combat the Iranian nuclear threat and intensify sanctions against Hamas and other Iranian terrorist proxies. Importantly, one of these provisions is the Stop Harboring Iranian Petroleum Act to address Iranian oil exports to China.

This bipartisan congressional support for Israel shows that the enduring relationship between America and the Jewish state is stronger than ever.
