Help Secure Israel’s Future

AIPAC’s Family Leadership Initiative (FLI) is our exclusive training course for tri-state area high school students and parents or grandparents. The program is limited to 10 families and will run from September 2025 through April 2026.

Your family will graduate with concrete tools and skills to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship in your community and on your campus. Throughout the year, parents/grandparents and students will attend interactive training workshops. You’ll lobby your member of Congress, shadow AIPAC-trained college students, and learn from leading policy experts.

Each student will graduate with enhanced public speaking, advocacy and leadership skills that will stand out on their resume. Most importantly, FLI will help you make a difference and become effective pro-Israel activists together, as a family unit.

FLI is a selective program requiring candidates to submit an application and interview before being accepted.

What FLI Families Are Saying…

"Whether we’re learning about Israeli history, current affairs, social media tactics, or something else, every activity makes a critical contribution toward effective and knowledgeable advocacy."

Nick Baum

"My objectives in enrolling in the FLI program were to spend quality time with my daughter, further educate myself and my daughter about the extraordinary uniqueness of Israel and the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and enhance my daughter’s leadership skills."

Steve Rosenberg

"FLI gave me the rare opportunity to discuss complicated, in-depth issues centering around Israel and its relationship with the U.S. The best part of FLI was knowing I was party of a community/group with so many differences, yet one thing we all had in common was our love for Israel."

Ben Shapiro

"FLI provided me a unique opportunity to face the facts and learn how to communicate them in real world scenarios when it came to Israel. Being able to come together with like-minded peers in a safe space conducive to learning, problem-solving, and taking action was an empowering and validating experience."

Maddie Shapiro

"My daughter became interested in Israel on her own and not just because of my passion. She met like-minded students who I hope will continue to keep her engaged."

Amy Goldman

"There is no way I would have tried to schedule a meeting with my new Congressman, much less press for a strong position in defense of Israel, had it not been for all we did in FLI this year. FLI gave me inspiration, tools, and courage. I hope we can have an impact."
