In January, AIPAC successfully re-launched its Washington Professional Forum (WPF) with a well-attended event focusing on Achieving Your Career Objectives in Washington. WPF seeks to empower graduates of the AIPAC campus movement and other young professionals who support AIPAC’s mission, have completed their undergraduate or graduate studies in the past five years, and are interested in gaining a leg up in their careers. The first event, moderated by AIPAC Leadership Development Director Jonathan Kessler, featured leaders in American government, media and politics including: Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL); former Senior Advisor to Hillary Clinton Ann Lewis; Editor of The Weekly Standard William Kristol and AIPAC Director of Policy and Government Affairs Amb. Brad Gordon. Speakers discussed their career histories and the often surprising trajectories which led them to where they are today.
